These Terms apply when you install, access, or play LingoMancer.

The Game

LingoMancer is a language-learning roguelite built for practice, repetition, and entertainment. It does not guarantee fluency, certification, professional translation accuracy, immigration eligibility, school credit, or employment qualification.

Accounts

You can play locally without an account. Optional accounts may be used for cloud sync, leaderboard submissions, and future cross-device features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

Player Names And Conduct

Use a nickname instead of sensitive personal information. Do not submit player names or content that are abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, impersonating another person, or intended to disrupt the service.

Do not exploit, automate, tamper with, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the app, leaderboards, cloud sync, account systems, or backend services.

Learning Content

Language content is designed for practice and may include accepted answer variants, accent-insensitive matching, punctuation-insensitive matching, and keyboard-friendly alternatives. Content may be corrected, expanded, rebalanced, or reorganized in updates.

Purchases And Entitlements

Paid language packs, lifetime unlocks, and other paid features are product entitlements governed by the rules of the platform where they are purchased. Platform payment providers process payment details. LingoMancer stores only the entitlement state needed to unlock content in the app.

Future content is not guaranteed to include every possible language, theme, word, or feature. Some features may remain local-only until cloud services, platform purchases, or other backend systems are configured for a release.

Saves, Progress, And Updates

LingoMancer is local-first. Local saves can be reset from Settings or removed by deleting app data. If cloud sync is enabled and you sign in, cloud data may be merged with or restored to the device.

Playtest and pre-release builds may change, reset, rebalance, or remove content, rewards, purchases, saves, and leaderboard data.

Account Deletion

Signed-in players can request account deletion from Settings. Account deletion removes cloud save, sync, leaderboard, crash, and authentication records for the signed-in account after the server confirms deletion. Local device data is also cleared on the current device.

Availability

LingoMancer may be updated, interrupted, changed, or discontinued. Online features depend on backend configuration, third-party providers, network availability, and platform services.
